Guides: statements and documents

Logbook loan and car finance applications ask for M-Pesa and bank statements for the last 6 months. M-Pesa statements are issued by Safaricom. If you need help getting or sharing yours, email kenyasupport@umba.com or call/WhatsApp +254 746 555 222 during our support hours and our team will guide you.

If you are employed: proof of employment (last 3 months pay slips and contract letter), a copy of your logbook, National ID, KRA PIN, and M-Pesa and bank statements for the last 6 months. If you run a business: proof of business (a permit, registration or licence) instead of proof of employment, plus the same logbook, National ID, KRA PIN and statements.

Download the Umba app from the App Store or Google Play, or apply online.
